Well, the good news is that I got my new G5 iMac finally. The bad news is that it's taking way too long to get everything transferred and running smoothly. So while it's a nice change, the process is far from painless. The printer's still in box where it was deposited upon delivery -- some 2 weeks ago

Besides that, I have little to report other than Joey the cat is chasing down a spider, that I am totally impressed by Foxvox's new photos, that I should go back now to updating my online store to combat the post-holiday slump, that I need a refill of Peach Dixie, and that I am under pressure from friends to have a belated birthday celebration ... that event is always belated on purpose since no one, least of all myself, ever wants to do anything right after the holidays.  I am never prepared to deal with it in any form beyond blatant disregard until a few weeks later. I am no party person by a long shot but it's been a while since I had a group pf pals over so I suppose I owe some good folks a some drinks and a bit of jocularity.
